We booked a sunset cruise for a bachelorette party and it was great! Captain Shane was lots of fun and knew where to spot the dolphins. We were able to bring drinks on the boat and just hang out with music playing. Would definitely book it again!

My husband and son went out with Captain Shane last year and had such a great experience they came back again this year and brought my dad and a friend. All four of them had a great time. They caught a variety of fish and a couple reds that were super big and will make a fantastic feast. They also saw dolphins and a sea turtle, so it turned out to be a great combo of fishing and wildlife adventure.

Me and my family did the 4 hour jetty bay fishing and it was amazing. We caught many red drums a black drum as well as some sheepshead and saw some dolphins as well. Had a very good experience with Richard and Adrian they were very nice and very helpful. I would definitely book them again. I loved it

Can't say enough how thrilled we were with our 1 hr dolphin tour. We saw so many dolphins. We took our two grandchildren,1 and 3 and the 3 yr old was so excited to see them and my grandson loved yelling at all the seagalls. It truly was more than worth the time and money. Definitely would recommend

We did a sunset tour with Captain Shane and were more than pleased. He was personable and knowledgeable, able to answer our groups numerous questions. We saw several different pods of dolphins and enjoyed a fantastic cruise. We had a group with young children and it was a great choice for our mixed age group. We loved it and would recommend anyone interested book one of their cruise options, no second guessing needed!

Capt.Shane was the best guide I’ve ever used. He put us on the fish and gave use a fantastic fishing adventure! He has top of the line electronics and good gear. You never had to wait on anything, the deckhand had you fish off and hook baited instantly. Great guide service! I’ll use Shane every time I come to Galveston.

Captain Shane was great and boat was immaculate! Best boat I’ve been on in all the years I’ve taken private boat trips. Captain Shane put us on fish spot after spot and we had an amazing time. Caught MASSIVE Red Snapper and even a Blacktip Shark. Will definitely be back to ride out with Capt Shane and Galveston Sea Ventures again.

We went on a fishing trip on Sunday. Most of the places where we stopped were un-successful, except for our last stop at the entry to the sea, where we caught some small fish—at least we weren't completely disappointed. To be honest, we could have started there to have a more enjoyable time. Captain Shane did his job , taking us out and bringing us back safely, but it could have been better if we had stopped at the right spots. I'm not sure if there was fish finder instrument to identify where the fish are, or if communication with other boats could help. Overall, it was an OK experience—nothing extraordinary, I would say better chance to go for deep sea fishing option!

Capetian Shane was amazing! He worked with us and we had a fantastic deep sea fishing trip before our cruise. We caught more than enough for dinner! Captain Shane filleted them for us too!! Definetly recommend!!

Fabulous experience!! They took good care of my family and my 4 kids all caught fish. In fact, we caught more fish than the 6 of us could eat in one meal! We’ve gone out with them multiple times now and always have an amazing experience. Thank you, Shane!

Booked a 6 hour shark trip for a belated birthday experience. Quickly realized we had made the right decision. The Captain(Shane) and his deck hand(Austin) were punctual and ready to get the day going. We breezed through the day with a few solid catches on our bucket list of sharks and lone stingray. Even as our time came to an end, Shane made a point to take us closer to the marina and carve out some time to score some whiting for dinner. Ending the day with his handywork fileting the whiting and bagging it for us. If you're considering this as a day trip, don't hesitate. I don't do reviews, but this charter is the real deal. Had to make sure to add to the other stellar reviews that led us here. **Per Shane's recommendation we took the fresh whiting to a local spot called Huli Huli Hut where they prepared it for a meal at an incredibly reasonable price. 10/10.

This was a great fishing experience. Capt. Shane and his deck hand kept us in the fish and gave us a great fishing adventure. I would have given this a 5 star review if there would have been someplace for us to sit, besides the floor, for the 6 hr trip.
